A Walk In The Park

A couple weeks ago Mark was visiting from home (Virginia) and we took Mr. Brennan to the park up the street. Brennan, only being a typical six month old baby boy, was not too interested in the fun slides or playing on the swings. He wanted to play in his stoller with the buckle that held him in the seat. But, Mark and I finally got him out and about and were able to have fun pushing him in the swings and taking him down the slides. We got some good pictures!

Happy Turkey Day

Thanksgiving was delicious! Even Brenn was able to participate in the festivities. He tried mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce (from a can of course, there's no other way), sweet potato casserole and pumpkin pie. The only food he really enjoyed was his favorite, sweet potato casserole. He ate so much and played so hard that he was knocked out by round 2 eating time.

Brennan having his favorite, sweet potatoes!!

Unfortunately, Brennan and I were unable to be with Mark this Turkey Day. Thursday was Mark's duty day and he has duty every eight days. Brennan and I had dinner with Grandma and Granpat and Chris and Monica. Thanksgiving was not the same with out him and we missed him so much. But, no worries Mark said that his Turkey Day dinner was not all that bad on the ship. He was able to eat turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and all the other fixin's while on the ship. Mark, Brennan and I will be together on Christmas. Mark gets two weeks leave at the end of December. Everything always works out.

He just couldn't take the excitement

Brennan trying some cranberry sauce. I think it was a little bitter for our little man.

Brennan's always so happy when he wakes up from his naps. He's also always ready to eat!

The Next Picaso

Brennan at six months and 2 weeks has all ready created his first masterpiece. This Thanksgiving hand turkey was made at daycare, with the assistance of Ms. Josie. All of the daycare students made one. I think it is the cutest idea and I am so happy that Brennan was a part of the project.

Game Day

Go SKINS!!! We think Brennan was a good luck charm for the Redskins loosing streak. The Skins ended up winning the game! On game day we wore our Redskin's gear including Brenn with his Cooley jersey. We enjoy watching football as a family.

Daddy is such a kidder!

MMmm...
Brennan pigs, NUMMY!
Kisses for Brenn!!!!

Extremely fascinated with who knows what.

We were finally able to get his attention.

Daddy laughing at Brennan.

Brennan showing off to Daddy how he can pull his pigs to his mouth. You know Mark's impressed.

Mommy and Brennan. Brenn is a spitting image of Daddy.

Brennan On Wheels

This past weekend we went home to Suffolk to visit with Daddy and visit the pediatrician for a wellness check-up (the check-up went splendidly by the way). While we were at home Brennan got to really try out the walker (no worries, we don't have any steps). We have a huge great room with linoleum and nothing but room to roll. Once he got the hang of it we could not keep up with him. Georgie (the furry son) wasn't thrilled with this new contraption Grandma and Granpat purchased for Mr. Brennan. You can read Georgie's mind, "Why Mommy? Why?". It was the funniest thing ever.

And everyone makes fun of me because I buy Brenn socks with tread. He was using the tread this night.

Mark and I had so much fun watching him in the walker. Brenn was having a blast! He felt like a big boy; with so much independence he did not know what to do with himself.

The President of The Lollipop Guild

Two Monday's ago Brennan went with daycare to Chuckie Cheese for a little field trip. Well, all of the kids were given lollipops including Brennan. So me being the genius that I am I gave him some lollipop. Boy did he love it!!! His face was priceless. He had never had anything like it. All the colors and the different flavors.....he was in heaven. By the end of it all (I did not let him have the whole thing) he was covered from head to toe in sticky, messy lolly. It was hilarious! After he was finished eating I brushed his 1 1/2 teeth and gave him the scubbing of a lifetime.

I want more!!!

I love to share!

Mommy's gonna have fun cleaning me after this!

Don't take my lollipop!

All giggles, he was covered! Can anyone say, "BATHTIME!"

Going back for more? Time to brush your 1 1/2 chompers Mr. !

Happy 6 Months Mr. Brennan

Brennan turned 6 months today. So far he can roll over, grab his feet, laughs at silly faces and sounds, eats some delicious fruits and veggies and sleeps through the night (thats makes Mommy very happy).
Time has gone by so fast, but it is so much fun watching him learn and experience new things and grow each day. I cherish every moment of every second of every day. I could not imagine my life any other way.

It's Gran Time!!!

Today Brennan turned 6 months. He's getting bigger and bigger by the minute. Gran came to Maryland to visit for the weekend. Brennan loved it! Of course he had to show off all of his new maneuvers, rolling over, trying to sit up and how he can get his whole foot in his mouth. There were nothing but giggles!

I love my Gran!!!
Uncle Jeff is gonna get you!!

Tummy time is always fun time.

Give Gran a good burp!

Such a big boy!

I love you this much!!!!!

Brennan loves it when Gran tells him secrets.

Happy Halloween

Halloween is one of me and Mark's favorite holiday's. We love to get dressed up and hand out candy to all of the little ones dressed up in there cute, scary and gross costumes. We even dress up Georgiekins (the cat) as a rooster-cat.

This year Mark was Cooley (Redskins player), Brennan was a skunk and I was a Ladybug for work and Halloween night was a sassy sailor. We have a blast every year.

Georgie, the one and only Rooster-cat!
